Lemongrass is a herb with a citrus-like flavour. It is a central ingredient in South-East Asian cuisine, especially Thai. The stalks has a woodier, and composed of tightly packed grey-green leaves. The fragrance and flavour is quite lemony and slightly sweet. The aroma appears more strong once the stalks are cut or bashed.
